I'm at 50% on August 18th. Tracking a little slower than I had hoped, but I just put in another 50 hour week at IBM, so I didn't spend a ton of time on VSC.
But hey, if I can do this while working a 50 hour week elsewhere, I can imagine what is possible when I only have one job and a bakery on site.
In other news, house construction is tracking slower than we had hoped too. I had hoped we'd be done by the end of the summer, but that won't happen. This place is a mess and I have to admit the lack of privacy and chaos are wearing thin on my nerves. One look at my reading room with big windows facing the forest of maples and I am reminded that very soon, I will have my own quiet space. Just in time for the Vermont autumn color show!
I'm going to a restaurant auction on Sept. 7 to look at equipment for the in-house bakery. Looking forward to the dream beginning to take shape...I'm just so darned impatient.
My daughter and I are going on this bungee/trampoline thing tomorrow...you can jump high and do flips in the air because you're attached in a special harness. I hope I don't embarrass my kid by getting queasy or even worse...
