In my ever-expanding list of favorite customers, I am lucky to know three virtual assistants (VAs) who adore shortbread. These ladies are leaders in their field and have used Vermont Shortbread Company's services in the past to send their favorite clients business gifts. If you don't know what a VA is, it's a hot, quickly growing field of professionals whose job it is to help YOU run your business more smoothly. VAs vary in skills, duties, and rates so visit a few VA web sites for more information.
Three of my favorite VAs are:
- Donna Toothaker, 1st VA
- Lori Davis, Davis Virtual Assistants
- Terry Green, Fastype
Do you have a favorite virtual assistant? Why not send him/her a gift box shortbread in honor of Virtual Assistants Day on May 19, 2006? We'll add a personalized Vermont gift card and ship your freshly baked shortbread via priority mail so it arrives on your favorite VA's special holiday. In addition, for each shortbread gift box you purchase, your name will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE gift box shortbread for yourself! Drawing will be held on May 19, 2006 and winner will be announced on May 20. (Only U.S. addresses are eligible for the drawing.)
Send an SVH (shortbread virtual hug) to your favorite VA (virtual assistant) today!

Dearest Ann,
You're very sweet for mentioning DavisVA on your blog and for that, I thank you! And yes it's true, I am addicted to your Raspberry Shortbread. (I'm still working on the 50 state list in hopes of winning!) Hubster Joe even went so far as to exclaim, "This is amazing." (Mind you, Joe has one of THE most discriminating palate's known to man. For him to say "amazing" is a huge compliment!)
Truth be told, I'm not sure I'm on the VA Day bandwagon. Do I need a special day to let the world know about me and my industry? No ma'am, I do not. Having a "Virtual Assistants Day" feels cartoonish ... While I do understand, and respect, the reasons behind this special day, I will continue on with business as usual ... and DavisVA's world domination!
Kind regards,
Lori
