As the holidays draw near and our little town recovers from its first snowfall of the season (!), Vermont Shortbread Company is gearing up for the first flurry of shortbread gift box orders, followed by the Busy Season Blizzard. With baking and merrymaking on our minds, we can't help but dream up new ways to get silly with shortbread and (hopefully) give our customers a chuckle or two.
One idea that's been simmering on a back burner: the Shortbread Photo Contest and Online Collage (click the link to read the issue of Short Bites, our monthly newsletter, where we mention it). We're on the hunt for more digital cam crazed customers like the fan who sent the above photo of his lovely young daughter enjoying our product. You know, creative people like us who would actually have the camera ready when doing something like tearing open a mail order gift of freshly baked shortbread. Hey, never miss a photo opp, right?
So, to get you warmed up for our future online collage of Shortbread Shutterbugs, here's another friend of Vermont Shortbread Company, wearing an expression of utter surprise and delight as she discovers a special birthday shortbread has arrived just in time for her lunch hour. Next time you see that telltale USPS Priotity Mail box with the Vermont Shortbread Company logo on the label, grab your trusty cam, upload to the PC, snap a picture, and flip us an email containing your .jpg image.
