Off to my photography class, so this will be short.
I can't believe how many orders we've received for our little shortbread hearts. I think I will embellish them and create a smaller, more "bride-ish" package to market them to the wedding favor market. I'm thinking maybe 4 or 5 little chocolate drizzled hearts in pretty cello wrap with bow and a customized label for the couple to provide for their lucky guests?
Any brides-to-be getting married in Vermont who want to give it a whirl with me?
On a more serious note, we're due to get walloped with snow Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm worried that I won't have my Wednesday BNI meeting. That would be a shame, as it would be a prime opportunity to market to last minute Valentine's Day gift shoppers. Of course, there isn't much that stops me and my studded snow tires, especially when there's money to be made.
Okay, off to photography class. It's nearly zero degrees (F) outside now and my neck is throbbing at the thought of being exposed to the elephants...um, I mean elements.
If you're a local yokel and still in need of a Valentine's Day gift for your sweetie, give me a shout now or forever hold your peace. I'll be out and about tomorrow making deliveries in the greater Burlington area.
How much easier could it be to buy cute little heart shaped shortbread bites in a festive red box than having yours truly hand deliver them right to your place of business (with a smile and perhaps even a joke if you're lucky)?
Dial my digits at 802-264-4835 to arrange for personal delivery in the Burlington area tomorrow.

Walloped INDEED!
Several feet ... yes FEET ... of snow here upstate, and it's continuing to come down hard ... We're plowing once an hour to keep up with all the new snowfall. The car? Eh eh ... don't ask! The car is buried in the back yard. Totally and completely buried, and it's a big car (2007 Toyota Scion).
Mother Nature is one crazy broad today ... love that gal! This Midwestern Girl from Kansas is diggin' the snowfall; feels like I'm home.
Stay warm. Stay safe.
