Maybe vacation is the wrong word. It's more like a sabbatical. I'm taking time off from IBM (wish I could afford to take more time) to kick some shortbread butt and consider, for the zillionth time, my career and financial options. Yep, Being a fiscally responsible, self sufficient adult sometimes sucks.
I am taking this sabbatical as a time to catch-up and brainstorm creative ways to make my work life work for me. It's hard to do that when I'm constantly changing between my subserviant corporate drone hat to my empowered CEO hat.
Stay tuned...who knows what will emerge?
Must go now...I really must stop eating these Valentine's Day shortbread heart bites...they are way too buttery and way to easy to pop into my mouth in one swell foop! Dang, they are tasty!
