I launched Vermont Shortbread Company sometime in 1996 (I'm getting too old to remember the exact date). It was kind of like a birthyear rather than a birthday. Actually, it's been a birthDECADE as this company grows just as slowly but purposefully as the trillium near the stream in my woods.
