Oh, that wacky Dina, copywriting and marketing chick. She is responsible for the graphics that make me roll with mirth. (I just love the word mirth, don't you?) I gave her permission to go wild. Actually her professional work is far better than this - this was all for fun and giggles. That's one of the cool things you can do with a blog - inviting guest authors to write or post weird graphics.
And thanks to all customers who ordered yesterday. I met my sales goal for the day. It was a rainy, cold day here in northern Vermont, but my heart was full of sunshine and laughter. I had dinner at Bridge Street Cafe in Richmond: a humongous calzone and a brownie sundae with candles while my daughter, my man, and the entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday. It was a high fat night, for sure. C'est la vie.
I'm processing shortbread orders this morning. I've got the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility conference this afternoon and a Chamber of Commerce after-hours event tonight. I've got to get my child to school and my husband to the airport too. Yikes.
I'll have more time for writing and office work tomorrow.
Till then, thank you for making my day fun, shortbreadheads. I hope I made yours fun too with all that free shortbread I gave away.
