I rolled in from Connecticut last night and I'm up early today packing shortbread and getting ready for the Vermont Business Expo. While this expo is nowhere near the size of The Women's Congress or other conventions I attend in big cities, it's quite fun because I know so many people. It's free and it's a great networking opportunity for me to market shortbread gift boxes to corporate gift givers.
I landed a SWEET food writing freelance gig recently and tonight I'm dining at Ye Olde England Inn in Stowe. I haven't had real steak and kidney pie or bangers and mash in years; I hope they have some for me to try! I'm wondering if they need shortbread on their dessert menu? Hmmmmm...
If you're stopping by the expo today, be sure to say hi. I'll be the tired, but happy shortbreadhead. Not sure what I'm wearing today...if I can't find anything that fits after all this food tasting writing, I may just have to fashion an outfit out of Vermont Shortbread Company's green gingham tissue paper.
Time to run. I'll be back to bloggin' on Friday. Come to the Expo!

Oh Ann, I love the Ye Olde England Inn! I've had breakfast there. It was so yummy. Also, drinks and pub fare when we first moved to Vermont. I can't wait to hear what you think of the dinner. Have fun at the Expo- I hope you make a lot of great contacts!
When do you sleep??!!

These check-ins that you post on the blog, alerting us to your whereabouts definitely amuse me. They rank second to your pensive moments in nature. Keep it coming, busy lady!
