Does Your Business Give Customer Appreciation Gifts?

One of my local commercial clients gives customer appreciation gifts of shortbread gift boxes frequently.  Each month the customer sends me a list of people to whom to deliver the gifts (in Chittenden County) and yours truly delivers a fresh shortbread gift box, with a thank you card and a helium-filled balloon to the recipients' workplaces.

It's a win-win.

Vermont Shortbread is finding its way into offices and the mouths of employees all over the greater Burlington area and my client has a big helium balloon with their logo on it floating around in the same offices.  Sooooo...who do you think the people in these offices will call next time they need the services that either Vermont Shortbread Company or my client offer?  I'd be willing to bet they call those companies who made an impression by saying THANK YOU.

This is smart marketing.  Inexpensive.  Fun.  Memorable.

Shortbread at the WBON Fall Conference

The WBON (Women Business Owners Network) 22nd Annual Fall Conference is scheduled for this coming weekend - November 10 and 11.  This year's venue is Topnotch Resort in Stowe where you can treat yourself to the warm glow of a fireplace, sky-lit solarium with heated pool, spa and fitness studios, and creative cuisine.

This year's theme is Mastering Finances: Essentials for Small Business.  Click here for the list of presenters.

Vermont Shortbread Company was selected to provide speakers' gifts this fall.  We also provided shortbread for the spring 2006 conference.

I am a member of WBON and I continually benefit from this organization's informative seminars and monthly chapter meetings.  I'm so grateful they've chosen VSC to represent them!  I hope the speakers enjoy their shortbread treats!  Perhaps (if they can wait that long), they can save their shortbread for sharing at Thanksgiving.

I'll try to post photos of the speakers gifts later this week.  If your organization is looking for a gift that is sure to please all presenters, consider Vermont Shortbread Company

WBON Spring Conference: Internet Marketing

This week I discovered yet another market for me:  conference speakers gifts.  I am a member of WBON (Women Business Owners Network), a Vermont-based association of over 200 women business owners.  They asked me to provide the speakers gifts for today's conference on internet marketing.  Here's what I came up with to fit their budget:
